A Birthday Celebration

For Taylor's Birthday Dinner, she wanted to go to Olive Garden. We had a good time, but we were bummed to find out from the waiter that they don't do the fun cake dessert anymore. In fact, he told us that they can't even sing now!! I guess people complained, if you can believe that!! Boo to the Bad Apples! Anyway, our server was really nice and spoiled us anyway...he got us a deal on our drinks, and he brought Taylor TWO Andes mints at the end of the meal!

 Looking so GROWN UP!
 Dad & Shaylie bonking heads!
 All Better Now!
 Me and My Girl
Love this picture. I can't believe how grown up my baby is!!
Silliness abounds whenever Dad gets his way!
 Yummy!!

After dinner, we went to Krave. A fun place, but $15 bucks for 3 yogurts was a little steep for me. Birthdays are worth a little splurge though!
Taylor with her Mini-Cake and present. (I neglected to get her a cake or present since I mistakenly thought she wouldn't care if we waited until her friend party on Friday...my bad! I ran to WalMart and got a little sump'n sump'n!)
 New Jammies! Yay!
Love you Taylor Girl! Hope your day was as awesome as you are!!

My Baby is 14!!!

That Shaylie!

My mom was visiting this past weekend and she was talking to us about buying some new pants she liked. My sweet Shaylie says, "I thought they were called Trousers when Old People wear them."

The whole room cracked up! Which is just the way Miss Shay likes it! What a character.

Sheesh!

I can't believe I didn't get any comments on my last entry! Come on, guys! Don't leave me hanging...I thought that was funny!

Hello....is anybody out there?

Uh-oh! Get the Janitor.

I have to share this funny story from Taylor's school. She arrived at school and saw a big group of kids gathered around the school sign taking pictures. You can see why this would cause a commotion!!!

It was supposed to be an abbreviation for "students" but apparently there are still some innocent kids in the world. My Taylor didn't know what it meant but assumed it was some kind of drug or something.... so joined in the hilarity.

The principal came out to see what the ruckus was all about and Taylor heard  him say, "Uh oh. Get the Janitor."
I cracked up when I heard this story! Hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one on Leno!

I Did It and LIVED!

I started my C25K training today! Read about it on my HCG Living blog! I just posted about it!

I learned a few things:

  • My body is not as fragile as I think it is.
  • I need new shoes!
  • I need to find a good stretching routine.
  • I love the Podrunner training tracks. (Link on HCG Living post.)
  • I need a sports bra. (I'm lucky I didn't put an eye out!)
  • I am more than ready to make this change!
  • I finally have something new to blog about!
First day down...only 10 more weeks to go! Yay me!
